City NEwsThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. with the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.  The agenda includes ratification of the bid award for the 2016 Street and Sidewalk fall projects, department head reports and requests of parking at 523 North Michigan and an additional stop sign on Crimson Lane.

The board of works will also discuss the parking issue on Harrison Street between Michigan Street and Center Street.

The Plymouth Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30.  The agenda includes a public hearing for the tax abatement request for Viking Paper, 2nd and 3rd reading of the ordinance for appropriations and tax rates for 2017, and the ordinance fixing salaries for employees, appointed officers, police and fire and elected officials.

The city meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
