This year, in celebrating Indiana’s Bicentennial, Encore Performing Arts is partnering with the Museum to remember the historic works of Indiana composer, Cole Porter.

cole porter“Cole Porter’s Top Ten List Songs,” the first of a 6-part series sponsored by Encore, will be featured for the first Brown Bag event on Friday at the Museum.  It will be narrated by popular Chicago-based presenter, Charles Troy.  Troy’s research, fueled by his skills and passions about the Hoosier composer led him to design a narrative about Cole Porter in a series of unique presentations that employ a seamless blend of recorded songs, original graphics, historic videos and vintage photos.
