The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Tuesday, January 19th due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday.
Agenda for the meeting includes an update from the County Highway Department, a request to fill an employee vacancy in the Building and Grounds department and a contract with Thompson Reuters to print the county tax bills. Other items on the agenda include a request to approve the Fire Station in LaPaz as a polling site because the community building can no longer function as one and consider a contract with Microvote.
The meeting will also include the County Attorney’s Report, Auditor’s Report and Commissioner Items: the MACOG appointment, Local Health Officer appointment and a change order from USI and INDOT.
The commissioners meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are welcome.
