The suggestion of placing a directional sign at the roundabout on North Michigan Road and Veteran’s Parkway noting access to US 31 was considered by the Marshall County Commissioners this week. They agreed with the recommendation and approved having the signage installed.
Another suggestion pertaining to Veteran’s parkway came from the County Highway Department. A concerned citizen called the highway department and said an accident had occurred when a vehicle traveling east at a high rate of speed lost control on the gravel on Linden Road. The highway department suggested placing a 4 way stop at the intersection to slow traffic before entering the gravel road. The commissioners were in favor of placing the stop sign.
