On Monday the Marshall County Commissioners considered a professional services agreement with CHA for the oversite of the wetland mitigation project for 7th Road.

During the May 2nd commissioner’s meeting Laurie Baker said the county must have oversite of the project for 10 years with monitoring annually for the first 5 years and then again in the 7th and 10th year.

The contract presented from CHA was for $97,600 to be paid in equal annual installments over the 10 years.

County Attorney Jim Clevenger made several recommendations of minor modification of the agreement and questioned an additional expense of up to $27,310 for direct expenses incurred in the oversite project wondering how to budget for that.

The Commissioners decided to redraft the agreement and consider it at their next meeting.
