County News_logoThe Marshall County Commissioners were given an update on the Hickory Road Bridge replacement project over the Yellow River during Tuesday’s meeting.

Laurie Johnson from DLZ said three of the four parcels needed for the additional right-of-way have been secured and they are working to acquire the final one.

Permit applications have been submitted to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the Army Corp of Engineers. Johnson said DLZ is assisting Marshall County in requesting additional federal funds for the wetland mitigation project.
