MugShot_Brandon MattixOn Sunday, February 21, Marshall County Police were investigating an accident on 11th Road west of Olive Trail.  During the investigation a family member, 18 year old Brandon Mattix, came to the scene driving recklessly and going airborne in the vehicle he was operating.

Mr. Mattix threatened bodily injury and death to an officer on the scene and was subsequently arrested. He was then transported to the Marshall County Jail for reckless driving and intimidation on law enforcement. He was given a $1500.00 cash bond and held for 24 hours for the intimidation.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
