mugshot_maeson-coffinMaeson Coffin, 19 was accepted into the custody of the Marshall County Sheriff a little past midnight Wednesday morning on a warrant issued by Judge Dean Colvin on November 6th for the murder of Paul Costello.

Family members concerned after not hearing from Costello for approximately 2 weeks located his body outside his home on Lincoln Highway west of Plymouth on Saturday, November 5th.

Marshall County Police were able to track Costello’s cell phone and located two suspects in connection to the murder in Watertown, NY.  Local police there observed Costello’s stolen vehicle in the driveway of the second suspect, Gauvin Monaghan’s mother’s home.

Coffin and Monaghan were both taken into custody in New York and fought extradition.

Coffin is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond for Auto Theft and Murder.
