Crash_EastLakeShore18Rd_1A passerby came upon a single vehicle crash Saturday morning about 2:45 in the 600 block of East Shore Drive in Culver and removed the three passengers after seeing smoke coming from the vehicle.

 

Crash_EastLakeShore18Rd_3Marshall County Police were dispatched to the scene about 2:50 and found a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica that had crashed into a utility pole and a stone wall near 18th Road.

 

Crash_EastLakeShore18Rd_2The investigation showed that 22 year old Michael Olshanksy of Brooklyn NY was southbound on East Shore Drive and left the roadway for an unknown reason.

 

Crash_EastLakeShore18Rd_4Two people were treated by EMS and transferred to the hospital while one was airlifted from the scene by Samaritian.

 

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
