A Plymouth man was arrested Sunday night about 11:15 following a call for City Police to the Economy Inn.

Plymouth Police Officer Chris Miller was dispatched for the call of someone being chased with a knife.  The victim said the suspect was Brian Edington.

Officer Miller located 39 Brian Edington in room 223 of the Redrock Inn.  It is alleged he gave false information when asked his name.  After a short investigation at the motel, Edington was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a charge of Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon and False Informing.   He was held on a $1,505 cash bond.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
