Ultrafab

Encore Performing Arts’ Summer Performance Series at the Young Amphitheater features Ultrafab Band this Friday, July 8. The group based in South Bend is a five-piece that boasts “anything that makes you dance!” band!!

Ultrafab is the area’s hottest new dance and party band, playing your favorite dance tunes from Stevie Wonder to Lady Gaga to Avicci to Luke Bryan to Pitbull according to their website at www.ultrafabband.com.

The group is comprised of members Jeff Spicher on guitar and vocals; Brendan Crise on keyboards and vocals; Brandon Rock on lead vocals; Peter Joseph on bass and vocals; and Adam Hamel on drums. Check out their music on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ultrafabband).

Brandon Rock is known on stage for “shakin’ what his momma gave him and going to town on the tambo. He loves getting a crowd on its feet and dancing like there’s no tomorrow”.

Most of the events are in celebration of Indiana’s Bicentennial that kicked off with last Sunday’s Marshall County Bicentennial Orchestra’s Salute to Indiana. Due to the weather, the concert was held indoors but over 200 enthusiasts were on hand at Plymouth Wesleyan Church.

At the recent Encore Board meeting, the board unanimously voted to dedicate the season to long-time music lover, teacher and mentor, Bob Pickell. A former Encore Board member himself, he had planned to join once again in his retirement.

All concerts, except as noted, are in beautiful Centennial Park in the Young Amphitheater. Bring a lawn chair, your favorite beverage and a picnic to enjoy this special music in a delightful setting. If you don’t want to cook, the Plymouth Music Boosters will be offering refreshments.

Gates open at 6:00 with the performance begin at 7:30. All tickets are $10 for adults with pre-sale available for $8.00. Children and students are free. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Encore Office, ASK. for Flowers, Wagoner’s Music Shop, Martin’s Supermarket, Pilot News, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, Plymouth Park and Recreation Department and WTCA.

Encore is grateful to Centier Bank, Gibson Foundation and Plymouth Foundry for their support for the season.
