Plymouth Police Officer John Weir was patrolling on US 30 Tuesday afternoon about 1:30 when observed a vehicle who was eastbound from Queen Road passing several vehicles. He clocked the Dodge Charger at 115 MPH in a 50 MPH zone.

 

Officer Weir was able to catch-up to the vehicle at the light at Pioneer and US 30. The driver, 23 year old Dontai Lamar Goodwin of Fort Wayne told the officer he was late for work in Fort Wayne.

 

Mr. Goodwin was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Reckless Driving and held on a $250 cash bond.
