Saint Joseph Health System Outreach Services is offering free heart health screenings at the Plymouth Medical Center Emergency Department during American Heart Month.
From 7-10 a.m. on February 11 and February 25, members of the community can come to the Plymouth Emergency Department and receive a variety of important life-saving screenings.
“We know the seriousness heart disease poses for our community,” said Loretta Schmidt, president, Plymouth Medical Center. “By offering these free screenings, we hope our neighbors will learn what they can do to protect themselves.”
Screenings to be offered include body mass index, cholesterol and blood pressure. A limited number of free flu shots will also be available.
