Culver Town Manager, Jonathan Leist will appear before the Marshall County Council Monday morning at 9 to discuss them being a finalist in the Stellar Communities Grant program.
The Council will also consider a Tax Abatement request for both, Faulkner Fabricating and Indiana Tool and Manufacturing. The council will also consider a recommendation of the Personnel Committee for a full-time and part-time substance abuse interventionists for Community Corrections. They will also discuss the 2016 salary ordinance for the IT Department.
Jim Burroughs from the Town of Argos will be before the County Council about 9:30. He is seeking funds to assist in a fiber-optic project the town undertook. Last week he appeared before the commissioners and they recommended $75,000 towards the project. The Council will make the final determination.
Looking forward to the 2017 budget process, Rhonda Ferguson from Superior Court I will discuss their request to purchase an expensive copier next year.
The Council meets in the second floor meeting room of the county building starting at 9.
