The 8th annual Dancing With The Stars fundraiser for the Marshall County Neighborhood Center will be held on Saturday, February 6th at the Swan Lake Resort.
One of the thirteen dancing contestants is Nichole Goodrich, a newbie to Plymouth moving here in 2014. Born and raised in Valparaiso, a ’99 graduate of Boone Grove High School Nichole lives with her boyfriend Michael Lewallen, a ’97 grad from PHS and daughters Piper (9) and Paige (6) who are both students at Menominee.
Nichole graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Construction Management and Land Surveying and has worked for the past 2 years in the Surveying Department for DLZ in South Bend. She’s also been a professional wedding and portrait photographer for the past 9 years. In her spare time she enjoys weight lifting, riding ATV’s, competitive mountain biking, rescuing stray cats and dogs, Netflix binges, tree hugging, cooking, kayaking, and camping with her family in Northern Michigan.
Nichole Goodrich will dance with Ty Shively who’s been a dancer the majority of his life. First being captivated by tap dancing at a young age and then Hip-Hop as a High School student, Ty was inspired by a mentor at age 16 and began falling in love with many styles in the Hip-hop genre. He has done many performances across the U.S. and Canada.
Tickets are $75 each and include appetizers, a delicious buffet dinner, the Dancing With the Stars competition, silent and live auctions and dancing. Voting is now underway for your favorite dancers at $20 per vote on line at https://www.events.org.
