Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County held a ground breaking ceremony for the 18th family home to be built in Marshall County on Sunday. The site is at 304 Maplewood, Bourbon.
Volunteers plan to start construction in late April and worked 2 days a week to finish the 3 bedroom home. The goal is to have the family in their home by late summer.
The home is being constructed for Alyssa Byrd and family who have completed pre-construction requirements to qualify to start the building.
