A LaPaz man was arrested Friday evening for Auto Theft and Criminal Trespass.
Around 5 Friday evening May 20th the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a call from a Bremen resident on 1st Road saying an unknown male subject was on his property attempting to steal his truck. After a short verbal altercation between the two parties, the male subject fled into the woods on foot heading toward US Highway 6.
Officers from the Marshall County Police Department and Bremen Police Department began a search into the woods. 26 year old Justin Haining of LaPaz was apprehended and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Auto Theft and Criminal Trespass with a $1,500 cash bond.
