The high winds this afternoon have keep the Plymouth Fire Department very busy this Just before 5 p.m. emergency responders were sent to Lincoln Highway east of Plymouth for a power-line down across the road just west of Shady Rest. The line was live and sparking and burning the grass on the side of the road.
A couple of minutes later crews were called to the east end of Del-Lo-Me Trail where a line was down across the road, next to King Road.
At 5:24 firefighters were called to Lincoln Highway and Iris Road for a tree on fire from power lines and also to King Road and 9A for a pole fire.
The Standard Plumbing building on LaPorte Street was damages when the winds blew in the upper brick wall onto the roof of the building.
