A woman living on Alexander Street in Plymouth was arrested Wednesday, February 10th for alleged identity theft.
Plymouth Police received a call from a woman in Pennsylvania who said she had applied for assistance and was advised that someone was using her identification for employment at a business in Plymouth.
Detective Leo Manugs began an investigation that revealed 26 year old Lilian Morales had presented counterfeit documents to her employer on January 18th 2016 and forged a signature on a document.
Morales was located at her home and during questioning identified herself as Lilian Morales from Honduras.
She was then booked in the Marshall County Jail regarding Forgery as a Level 6 Felony and Identity Deception as a Level 6 Felony. Bond was set at $1,500.00 cash.
