This week the Indiana Department of Transportation awarded 65 construction contracts worth $117 million. The contracts include 24 bridge and road paving projects, 13 bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects, and maintenance or repairs to an additional 6 bridges.
In Marshall County, Niblock Excavating of Bristol was the low bidder on an asphalt resurfacing project on State Road 331 from State Road 106 to US 20. The engineers estimate for the project was $4,160,000 and Niblock’s bid was only $2,889,236.
