A Bourbon man faces felony battery and OWI charges after police say he assaulted a man in a wheelchair.
According to Ink Free News, 27-year-old Casey Whitehurst was arrested Sunday in Kosciusko County.
Prosecutors say he went to a house while drunk and asked a man with a bone disorder for pain pills.
When the man refused, Whitehurst reportedly shoved him from his wheelchair, stood on his leg and choked him, hit him with the wheelchair and then pushed the chair down a ramp.
He then drove away.
Warsaw police caught up with him soon after and arrested him for drunk driving.
He is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail.
