Jana’s Gymnastics of Plymouth was invited by the U.S. Olympic Committee to participate in the Road to Rio Tour at its stop in Indianapolis on Saturday, June 25th.
A few of Jana’s Gymnasts performed on stage at the Monument Circle, downtown Indianapolis and then were able to pose for a picture with Olympian Shawn Johnson.
The Road to Rio Tour included displays, The Sugarloaf Mountain zip line, a basketball sport court, a special long jump pit for all to try, It also included the Inspiring America Trailer, which included Team USA Memorabilia and a history wall. There was a Rio Beach Trailer which featured special sports virtual reality experiences and there were tons of Olympic and Team USA give-aways. Spectators and performers were also treated to a concert by Hunter Hayes.
