MugShot_Derek JernstromTuesday afternoon Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman conducted a traffic stop at 1102 West Jefferson Street on a subject he had a search warrant for.

Officer Workman observed 30 year old Derek Jernstrom of Plymouth and knew there was an active search warrant for the property at the northwest corner of West Adams and Beerenbrook Street.

Mr. Jernstrom was cooperative with police at the residence while police from the Plymouth Police Department and the Indiana State Police searched the home.  The search revealed marijuana, meth and controlled substances with a small amount being in the vehicle and the majority of it in the house.

Derek Jernstrom was arrested and booked into the Marshall County jail for Dealing in Marijuana, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. He was held on at $1,505 cash bond.
