Plymouth Color Logo2014City police and fire presented the monthly reports during last week’s Board of Public Works and Safety Meeting.

Plymouth Police Chief Dave bacon presented his report which shows 550 calls for service in July and 652 complaints.  City officers responded to 138 911 calls conducted 218 traffic stops, issued 126 citations and completed 151 case reports.

Plymouth Police Officers responded to 79 alarms, conducted 36 vehicle checks, investigated 49 animal complaints, completed 38 accident reports and made 28 adult and 9 juvenile arrests last month.

Fire Chief Rod Miller’s report showed 185 alarm situations.  Emergency Medical Service incidents led the list with 150 and 9 medical assists.  The fire side included 2 combustible spills, a controlled burn, a single fire listed as other, 2 structure fires, 1 system malfunction and 2 unintentional system operations.

Emergency units from the Plymouth Fire House were dispatched and cancelled en route 10 times in July, responded to 3 false alarms, has 2 calls for service and were dispatched for 1 severe weather event.
