MugShot_Phillip FreetFriday night, May 13th at approximately 10:00 PM the Marshall County 911 Dispatch Center received a call of a possibly impaired driver in the area of US 31 and US 6.

The 911 caller followed the impaired vehicle through Plymouth updating the dispatcher until county officers arrived in the area.

The suspect’s vehicle was stopped and the driver, 42 year old Phillip E Freet of Knox was found to be Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was .15% or more.  He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
