DONALDSON, IN – The Charger women’s basketball team lost on the road to Muskegon Community College Wednesday night, 89-57.

Ancilla’s leading scorer for the night, was Jasmine Love of Kokomo, IN who put up 14 points and had seven steals. Khadijah Moore scored 13 points and pulled down six rebounds and Teshylia Peters led the team in rebounds with eight.

“We didn’t perform to our full potential,” said head coach Tom Robbins. “We played Muskegon fairly even after the first quarter, but we didn’t open the game with the passion and enthusiasm we normally have and as a result, we were unable to pull ahead and grab the win from a very good team.”

The Lady Chargers move to 13-6 overall and 3-3 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) conference. The team will play home on Monday, January 25th against Jackson College. Game time is set for 5:30p.m.
