The Lady Pilgrims showed no signs of rust from their holiday lay off, defeating the visiting Mustangs of Elkhart Memorial 31-13 at the Rock Monday night.

Plymouth jumped out to an early 18-4 half time lead, with Kelsey Owen providing 10 of her game high 14 points in the first half.

Plymouth continued its trend of defending the opposition, holding Memorial to 9 second half points.  The defensive pressure was led by Christin Davidson, Loren Mattern, and Kristen Brown.

Mary Beatty continued her strong shooting performance from beyond the arch, adding a couple threes and a duce for 8 points.  Cassidy Holiday added a fine floor game and 5 points.

Loren Mattern and Kate Renneker each chipped in 2.  The Young Lady Pilgrims move their record to 5-1.  They will host the Lady Cavemen of Mishawaka at home next Monday night.
