Highlights: Plymouth fell in a tough game to a strong hitting Elkhart Memorial team. Plymouth was able to have a great defensive game, but the Elkhart hitters were able to find the holes. Jillian Smith led the offensive attack for Plymouth, going 3 for 4 with a double, Summer Smith went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs, Audrey Himes added a 3 RBI double, while Jake Brown went 2 for 3 at the plate as well. Zoe Keilman took the loss on the mound, striking out 7 while only walking 1.

Highlights: The JV Piligrim’s came back strong after the weekend. Josie Koontz, Sydnee Smith, Sydney Richer all hit doubles with RBIs and as a team the Pilgrims stole 23 bases. Jena Downs made an amazing diving stop on defense to keep the ball in the infield preventing base runners from advancing. Josie Koontz pitched 6 innings for the Pilgrims with 7 strike-outs. And Grace Allmon finished off the game with a strong showing in the 7th inning. The win brings the JV Pilgrim’s record to 3-3 on the year. They will play Concord on Wednesday, April 20th, at home.
