Highlights: Plymouth bats lit up in the sixth and seventh innings, but it was not enough to bring them back into the game. Going into the sixth inning, Plymouth was down 8-0. A walk put Mimi Southwell on base, and a base hit got Ashley Shepperd on base as well. They were knocked in on a base hit by Zoe Keilman to put the Pilgrims down 8-2. Northridge answered back with 4 runs in the top of the seventh inning. Plymouth started the bottom of the inning with a fight getting two base runners on with walks. The runners, Anna Bockman and Jillian Smith, were knocked in by a 3 run shot over the left center fence by Jake Brown. Plymouth continued to battle and scored one more run in the seventh on another hit by Keilman. The fight just happened too late to get Plymouth within striking distance. The Lady Pilgrims will travel to Elkhart Memorial on Wednesday, May 4 for a 5:30 start.
