The Lady Pilgrim C Team pushed its record to 7-1 this week. Defeating Mishawaka and NLC foe Concord.
Using home court advantage on Monday night vs. Mishawaka, the Young Pilgrims broke open an 18-10 halftime lead, outscoring the opponent 18-4 in the second half.
Mary Beatty had a game high 11 points, with Kelsey Owen netting 10. Cassidy Holiday & Kristen Brown each put in 4. Kate Renneker offered 3, with Loren Mattern and Rihanna Leed completing the scoring with 2 each.
Brittney Splix led the defensive charge that kept the Cave Lady’s to 4 second half points.
Traveling to Dunlap Thursday night, the Lady Pilgrims posted a hard fought 32-21 victory over a tough Concord team.
Trailing 7-11 after the first quarter, Plymouth went on a 25-10 scoring run to complete the victory. Plymouth finished the game with the whole team netting points.
