Highlights: The Plymouth bats caught on fire tonight to help boost the team to their first win of the season. Multiple players had multiple hits, led by Jake Brown who went 2 for 4 with a double, homerun, and 2 RBIs. Mackenzie Derifield followed suit, going 3 for 3 with a walk, and Summer Smith went 2 for 4 with a triple. The Pilgrims will host Michigan City on Saturday, April 16 for an 11am start. They will then be back in action against Elkhart Memorial on Monday, April 18 in Centennial Park for a 5:30pm start.

Highlights:  Josie Koontz had two doubles and three RBI’s to lead the Pilgrim attack for the second night in a row. Shayla Noble had a strong showing with 5 hits and a RBI.  The Pilgrims worked the bases with 19 steals.  Josie Koontz pitched 6 innings with 4 strike-outs.  Grace Allmon pitched for 1 inning.  The win moves the Pilgrim’s record to 2-2 on the year.  They will play Michigan City tomorrow, April 16th, at home at 11am
