LaPaz Police CarLaPaz police stopped a south bound vehicle Sunday, September 18th at 8:50 in the evening on U.S. 31 for speeding.  During the stop, it was found that the driver, 20 year old Ja Ron Coleman of Indianapolis, had a suspended operator license.  He was placed under arrest for driving while suspended with a prior charge and incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail with a bond of $750.
On Tuesday, September 20th at approximately 8:10 in the evening LaPaz police stopped a vehicle southbound on Michigan Road for driving without headlights.  The driver, 42 year old Salvador Contreras of Chicago was found to be unlicensed and had an open alcohol container.  He was arrested and incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail with a bond of $750.
