Monday morning just after 8 the Marshall County Dispatch Center received several calls of a possible impaired driving traveling on US 30.
Officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department located the suspect in the area of US 30 and Michigan Road and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, 30 year old Brad Herbert Hudgins of LaPorte was suspected to be driving while impaired on a controlled substance.
Hudgins was transported to the hospital for a chemical test and then arrested for Operating While Intoxicated on a controlled substance. He was booked in to the Marshall County Jail on a $3,000 cash bond.
