The 8 th Grade Lincoln Red Storm football team had their home opener last night against LaPorte
Boston. The Red Storm came out strong with two touchdowns in the first half. The defense
held strong throughout the first half holding the opponent scoreless. In the second half, the
Red Storm delivered another touchdown to top off an already impressive night of play. LaPorte
Boston tried to make a comeback late in the second half with a touchdown of their own but the
Red Storm held them off and came out victorious with an 18 to 8 win. The scorers for the Red
Storm were Donny Poczik with two touchdowns and Colin Mills with one touchdown. The Red
Storm will look to take this momentum into Saturday’s game at Northwood at 1030am.
