When students from Amy Walkers Lincoln Junior High class presented their ideas to the Downtown Revitalization Commission last year one of the reoccurring projects was the creation of a canoe and kayak launch in River Park Square.
Randy Danielson who funded a 3 minute promotional video of Plymouth offered the class the chance to use additional footage of the Yellow River to create a promotional video in support of launch.
The students wrote a script and put it with the video. On Wednesday their promotional video was presented to the Revitalization Committee.
Members of the Downtown Revitalization Committee are supportive of the project but have no money to assist with it. They suggested showing the video to members of the Redevelopment Commission to show them there is support for the project.
