We are elated to welcome Bremen to the Indiana Main Street program,” said OCRA Executive Director Bill Konyha. “The work they will continue as part of our program illuminates the community’s enthusiasm to assure that strong economic growth and a sense of place remain a focus for years to come.”

The Main Street program, administered by OCRA, is founded on a Four Point Approach to downtown development: organization, design, promotion and economic vitality. Bremen, along with the more than 120 other Indiana Main Street communities, work on these four main aspects of the downtown in order to focus on restoration and revitalization efforts within their communities.

“Bremen Community Cares is so excited to become an official Indiana Main Street organization,” said Jeff Clark, BCC President. “This is a big step towards our goal of honoring Bremen’s past, celebrating our present and looking forward to our future!”
