Haley Kittrell, Marshall County CASA Director watched Friday afternoon as Marshall County Circuit Court Judge Curt Palmer administered the oath of office to five new CASA volunteers.
The five volunteers, Ryan Gray, Sherri Borggren, Sherry Weber, Janet Galloway and Glenda Mechling-Smith completed 33 hours of in-service training required by National CASA. CASA volunteers that make fact-based recommendations to the Judge regarding a child’s best interests. Marshall County currently has 41 active volunteers. They are committed to the children of Marshall County and advocating for them both in and out of the courtroom.
