On Tuesday, June 28 at the Indiana Statehouse, Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education Teresa Lubbers will honor eleven Hoosier counties for establishing College Success Coalitions—groups of local education, workforce and community leaders who work together to help more students earn college degrees or other training beyond high school.

Representatives from Marshall County along with Brown, Dearborn, Greene, Huntington, Johnson, LaGrange, Martin, Randolph, and Starke counties will be at the State House at 2:30 on Tuesday. Warrick country representatives will not be able to attend the ceremony.

First launched in 2010, Indiana’s College Success Coalitions represent a growing network of local stakeholders partnering with the Commission for Higher Education to improve college access and success as well as better alignment between education and local workforce needs. There are currently 72 counties with College Success Coalitions throughout Indiana.
