The Plymouth Police Department participated in the most recent Operation Pull Over Blitz which focused on seat belt safety. The Blitz ran from May 11th through May 27th.
Four officers volunteered to work additional hours focusing specifically on seat belt use. At the conclusion of the enforcement period the four officers conducted twelve seat belt patrols which yielded in sixty-nine traffic arrests. The traffic arrests included ten seat belt offenses, one habitual traffic violator and one alcohol related arrest. The remaining arrests were for various other traffic offenses.
