millers_-festival-of-trees-2016Miller’s Annual Holiday Open House& Festival of Trees is scheduled for Sunday, December 11th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Each year Miller’s Senior Living Community extends an invitation to area individuals, businesses, clubs and organizations to decorate a Christmas tree that captures the personality/theme of the business or organization.   Festival of Trees voting  will take place during the facility’s Holiday Open House.  The top three winners are awarded prizes.  The trees are on display throughout the month of December for all to enjoy.

Voting for your favorite Christmas tree display is not the only exciting event scheduled during the open house.   Guests may also enjoy horse drawn sleigh rides and well as strolling musician, Fred Walker, singing holiday favorites.  The Coffee Lodge Coffee Cart will provide specialty coffees and smoothies; while Miller’s dietary department will have many homemade refreshments available.   To make the day complete Santa will his helpers will be in the Main Lobby from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. to take requests from all who come to see him – old and young alike.  This will be a great photo opportunity so don’t forget your camera.

Miller’s Holiday Open House and Festival of Trees is free and open to the public.  Bring the entire family(children must be accompanied by an adult)  and invite your friends for an afternoon of  holiday cheer and to vote for your favorite tree.  For more information call 574-936-9801 and ask for Anna Corbett or Cindy Flagg.
