Emergency responders were dispatched to a two vehicle, personal injury crash Tuesday evening about 6 on US 31 near 12B Road.

 

Crash_US31S_Cindy'sCafe_3Investigating officer Travis Oneal with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department found a 2007 Hyundai minivan in the median with extensive rear-end damage and a 2016 jeep Compass off the south bound lanes of US 31 with heavy front end damage.

 

The investigation found that the minivan was southbound in the passing land and had slowed in traffic to turn left into a residence. That minivan was then rear ended by the Jeep .

The driver of the minivan was 81 year old Mary McLochlin of Plymouth and the Jeep was driven by 24 year old Philip Pugh of Rochester.

 

Both drivers were transported from the scene to the Plymouth Hospital with complaints of leg and hip pain.

 

Alcohol is not believed to of been a factor in this accident.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Indiana State Police, Plymouth Fire, and Plymouth EMS.
