Plymouth High School held their annual Senior Awards Ceremony last Friday. More than 100 scholarships were handed out to students of the class of 2016.
Terry and Kent Borggren presented Herman and Florence Mattix Scholarships to Maria Barbosa, Hanna Demont, Sonia Flores, Anya Hettich, Kayla Hoober, Roger Karr, Morgan Overley, Diana Peynado, Ashley Roeder, Nathan Rundle and Kelsey Wieringa.
Jeff Houin presented the Plymouth Rotary Club Art Becknell Music Awards to Gabriella Garver and Sarah Tanner.
Mrs. Emily Hutsell presented a number of Tri Kappa Scholarships during the ceremony last week. Grace Cupka received the Marjorie Giffen Carothers Memorail Scholarship while Sarah Tanner was presented the Katherine E. Garn Scholarship and Melanie Cooper the Florence Hoham Scholarship. Other Tri Kappa Scholarship winners were Gabrielle Garver the Karen Metsker Scholarship, Karly Gruett the Judy Guild Honorary Scholarship and Hannah Demont the Margaret Scherwood Scholarship.
Mr. Tom Black presented Sarah Relos with the Fred Morrow Memorial Scholarship.
John Grolich and Steve Holm presented the Plymouth Firemen’s Memorial Scholarships to Katelyn Culp, Morgan Oberley, Mitchell Scott and Sydney Oliver.
