Centennial Park_front gateEarlier this month Plymouth Park Board members Laura Mann, Allie Shook and Alex Eads did evaluations on three of the companies that submitted RFP’s (Requests for Proposal) on the design phase of the 2017 LARE Grant.  This LARE Grant study includes the design phase of bank stabilization for the Yellow River from Garro Street to Michigan Street, a study of the walking bridge structure and a conceptual design of a canoe launch.

While four companies submitted proposals, the board selected three to evaluate.   At the conclusion of the evaluations The Troyer Group was rated number one while Williams Creek was ranked second and Environmental Consulting and Technology was third.

Although this grant starts in 2017 the Plymouth Park Board wanted to start the negotiation portion on the contract agreement so it can be approved at the January 2017 meeting.

The Plymouth Park Board unanimously motioned to move forward with negotiations with the Troyer Group on the LARE Grant.
