Ride Safe IndianaThe Commissioner of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), announced that Ride Safe Indiana (RSI), the BMV’s authorized motorcycle safety program, will officially launch at the Boat, Sport and Travel Show’s Motorcycle Expo this weekend.

Hoosiers can sign up for motorcycle safety courses right at the RSI booth and BMV staff will be on site to answer any questions about the new program.

RSI offers basic rider courses and advanced rider courses from 16 providers across Indiana and registration is available all season at RideSafeIndiana.com. More than 200 new motorcycles were added to the BMV’s training fleet as well as two three-wheeled motorcycles available now for safety training courses.

Along with having a booth at the Motorcycle Expo from Feb. 19 – 21, the BMV will have a booth and mobile license branch set up in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion throughout the Boat, Sport and Travel Show (Feb. 19 – 28). Customers can complete transactions, speak to BMV staff and try the driving simulator.
