Summer Sippin Craft Brew FestTuesday night members of the Plymouth Park Board were updated on the Summer Sippin Craft Brew Fest that was held in River Park Square on Saturday, June 25th.

Promoter Tony Gamble told the park board they had 754 paid attendees, slightly lower than their goal of 1,000 but still very pleasing for the committee. Gamble said there were no issues for police to handle and only one emergency where a volunteer suffered an medical issue due to the heat.

Gamble said, “It was a great event and very well received by the community.” He continued, “We hope to do it again next year and are hoping for a bigger turn out.”

The Summer Sippin Craft Brew Fest was a success as nearly $19,000 was profited from the event.

This fundraiser benefits Freedom Park, the all inclusive playground at Packard Woods. Proceeds from the brew fest will help fund phase II of the playground.
