The Plymouth boys freshmen team finished up their season on Saturday when they traveled to Goshen for the NLC Freshmen Tournament.  In the first game the Pilgrims overcame a 7 point deficit late in the third to defeat a very good Northwood team 38-34.  The boys showed great resiliency and kept battling even with two of the starters fouling out in the third quarter.  Bryce Carmichael led the way scoring a season high 19 points while Larry Dragani added 9.  Brayson Leazenby had some huge rebounds down the stretch pulling down 8 total for the game.  Larry Dragani and Joel Funston hit some clutch free throws late in the fourth to seal the win.

In the championship game the boys fell short to a very good Goshen team 47-26.  Goshen got out to a fast start behind some very good shooting and the boys were unable to recover.  Evan Zeigler led the team with 11 points while Bryce Carmichael added 10.

The boys finish their season with an overall record of 11-11.  The coaching staff would like to send a big thank you to all of the freshmen parents for their help and support throughout this season.
