The Plymouth High School Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program solicited the PHS staff for gently used business attire and they sure came through!
The purpose for the business clothing is so PHS JAG students can attend professional events that the program sponsors. JAG Students can also wear the clothing during interviews. JAG Specialist Cari Sharpe (shown in the attached picture) said, “I am teaching the students how to care for professional attire as well, such as when to dry clean, how to wash items, properly hang garments, and how to properly iron.” She went on to say, “These donated items will really help because it is not always easy for students to just go out and buy something new for these important networking events, so I want to have it available for them to borrow if they do not own these items. I want to make it so that there is not an obstacle in the way as to why they cannot attend a certain event.”
“If anyone has additional clothing they would like to donate, we now are really in need of men’s attire or a clothing rack that they would like to donate to our class, we would really appreciate it,” said Sharpe. The JAG program is currently borrowing the clothing rack. They are also in need of a second iron and ironing table. If you would like to help donated items can be dropped off at Plymouth High School during school hours.
