VEX_Robotics_logoThe Plymouth High School Robotics teams hit the road again this past Saturday January 23, and competed in the VEX tournament at the Warsaw Area Career Center in Warsaw. All six of the PHS robotics teams did well.

PHS Teacher and Robotics Club Co-Sponsor Rich Schieber said, “Some posted personal/team bests while others went on to dominate the tournament.”

PHS Teams 586A and 586G teamed up, finished the day strong and brought home Tournament Champion trophies. PHS Team 586A also brought home the Judges Award trophy.
PHS Robotics now has three teams that are qualified for State and National competitions – 586A, 586B, and 586G who qualified at the last tournament.

Team members are:

PHS 586A =  Zaccheus “Zacc” Hutchings 12, Lauren Wiegand 11, Michael Eads 11, Guillermo Morales 11, Owen DeLee 9

586B =  Emory Smith 11, Noah Harrell 11, Nathanael Shafer 10

586G =  Skyler “Squishy” Beindorf 11 , Trevor Fisher 11 , Dylan Manuwal 11

Schieber also said, “PHS Robotics will be hosting our first-ever robotics tournament to be held here at PHS; Set aside February 13th and plan to attend this exciting event!”
