The PHS Speech and Debate Team will be holding its annual Showcase this Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Studio Theater. Once again, the program will be featuring students who have qualified to represent northern Indiana at the NSDA National Tournament in Salt Lake City in June. Admission is free; however, donations will be accepted to defray national trip expenses.
National qualification performances include:

- Trent McKenzie (freshman) – Congressional Debate (Senate)
- Lexi Ramirez (sophomore) – Prose
- Emily McKenzie (senior) – Informative Speaking
- Elizabeth Polstra & Yailin Rodriguez (seniors) – Duo Interp
- Jillian Smith (senior) – Original Oratory
