The Pilgrims JV squad defeated the Goshen Red Hawks by a score of 16-4 on Wednesday night. The Pilgrims offense erupted for 18 hits on the night, and pushed 16 runs across the plate. Cole Filson led the Pilgrims, going 5-5 at the dish with 4 RBIs. Jesus Luva added 3 hits and 4 RBI, as well as collecting the win on the mound for Plymouth. Luva got the start and threw the first 3 innings of the game, before Jacob Deacon came in and threw the final 3. The Pilgrims pushed their record to 12-2 overall and 9-1 in conference play. They will host Wawasee on Friday evening.
